I believe in leading by example, that you don't have to be the loudest to be a leader, and that service and leadership are practically synonyms. I enjoy leadership roles in my academic work, and in my professional work.

I also enjoyed serving as a Trainer (where I was able to train a missionary who was just arriving) for 3 months, and a Sister Training Leader for 12 months of my 18 month LDS mission. In this role I had the opportunity to teach and train other sister missionaries in matters related to improving the work they were doing as well as in their personal growth. This was one of the most rewarding aspects of my time as a missionary.
